Your first visit to Eastside should be simple! Here’s everything you need to know before you come.

What are your services like?

- Our Sunday Bible classes begin at 9:30 AM and last about 45 minutes, with classes available for all ages. Our worship service begins at 10:30 AM and typically lasts about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes.

- During worship, you can expect a cappella singing, prayer, a message from God's Word, communion, and a time of giving.

- Our singing is a cappella, which simply means we worship through our voices without instrumental accompaniment. Whether you're familiar with this style of worship or experiencing it for the first time, you're welcome to sing along or simply listen.

- Each Sunday, we also share in communion as a memorial of the life, death, burial, resurrection, and person of Jesus Christ. We'll provide what you need and guide you through that part of our time together.

- As a church family, we also set aside time each week for giving. These gifts help support the work God is doing through Eastside in our community and around the world as we seek to advance His Kingdom. If you're visiting with us, there is no expectation or request for you to give.

- You don't need to know what to do before you arrive. Come as you are, participate as you're comfortable, and experience worship with us.

Where should I park?

- We have parking lot near the church and designated spots, near the front door, just for our guests.

Where should I go when I enter the building?

- We have greeters located at the doors who would be happy to help you find where you need to go.

What about my kids?

- We offer Bible classes for all ages at 9:30 AM. Children are dropped off by a parent with two trusted adult teachers and picked up by the same parent when class ends at 10:15 AM.

- During our 10:30 AM worship service, children worship with their families. Around 11:00 AM, children age 3 through 3rd grade are invited to Shine Time—a children’s worship experience with an age-appropriate lesson and games that lasts until about 11:35 AM.

- Nursery care is also available for infants and toddlers.

What should I wear?

- We are more concerned about you and your presence with us than we are with what you wear. There’s no dress code. Most people dress somewhere between casual and business casual, but you’re welcome to come in whatever you normally wear.

Welcome to eastside

Many in the world are confused and looking for the meaning of life. God tells us what the meaning of life is in Acts 17:24-27. Since He created us and loves us, He longs for us to seek Him, reach out for Him and find Him.

"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself give everyone life and breath and everything else. From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him, and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us."

If you seek meaning and purpose in your life, we invite you to come and join us as we study God's word, the Bible, and find the true joy and fulfillment that can only be found in Him. From the time sin entered the world through Adam, God had a plan of redemption for mankind. This redemption can only be found in Christ Jesus, who being in the very nature God, was sent to this world over 2,000 years ago to live a sinless life, suffer a cruel death on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, be buried, and on the third day resurrected, and after appearing within a 40-day period to over 500 witnesses ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of God. 

Jesus is coming again, at a time we do not know, to judge the world according to each person's faith in Him and obedience to His commandments while on this earth. It could be today or at any other time in the future. Only God knows, but will you be ready? He tells us in John 14:6 that only through Him, do we have access to God. 

"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my father as well.'"

If you feel that there is something missing in your life, there is. It is a personal relationship with Jesus, the only one who can save you. For those of you not currently attending church on a regular basis we would like to extend an invitation to you to worship God and His Son with us. Regular church attendance can make a big difference in your life. Worshipping God, learning more about Him and His plan for saving you, and enjoying fellowship with other Christians is very rewarding. He can change your life.
