How will we accomplish our mission?

Picture
Conversion:
  1. Make personal bible reading and a quiet time with God part of your daily routine.
    1. If you have family or friends that are willing, schedule a reading time with them as well.
    2. God’s commands are to be upon your hearts.  Impress them on your children.  Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.  Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.  Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. (Deut. 6:6-8)
  2. Further develop and strengthen your faith, and grow in the Lord by:
    1. Listening to spiritual CD’s or music, audio books, and literature,
    2. Attending bible classes and services regularly, and
    3. Attending lectureships, seminars retreats and other Christian events.
  3. Seek to lead others to Christ.
    1. Think of and submit names of unbelievers to the leaders of the congregation.
    2. Pray that they may come to believe in Jesus.

    4. Schedule a follow up visit within a week of attendance.
    5. Invite visitors into our homes for meals and fellowship.
  5. Become active in getting to know and caring for your “neighbors”.
    1. Practice hospitality in your home with neighbors and members of the church.
    2. Regular and frequent visits should be made to those overwhelmed by discouragement, are lonely or overtaken by sin.
Commitment:
  1. Become prayer-focused in your life.
