Camp Wabashi
Hey Kids! Plan on going to Camp Wabashi for your summer camping adventure! The 80-acre Camp Wabashi is located eight miles south of Terre Haute, Indiana, is sponsored by the churches of Christ, and has been serving Christian youth since 1972. We have three boy's cabins and a new shower house, four girl's cabins, a lodge building, a medical building, an outdoor chapel, a softball field, a soccer field, volleyball courts, a lake with canoes, basketball courts, playground equipment and hiking trails.
An excellent Christian staff will be working under the direction of a Wabashi director. The staff includes senior and junior counselors, a nurse, cooks, an athletic director, Bible teachers and other personnel who provide an outstanding week of Christian spiritual development, friendships and fun that the children will remember for the rest of their lives. The $125.00 fee ($110.00 if paid in full by June 1) covers the cost of food and lodging, refreshments, craft projects, a camp t-shirt, and lifelong memories (Spring and Fall Retreats are $35). Camp pictures are available for $5.00. If camp applications are not available, please contact Tom Woodason, Vice President of Camping, at 812.230.7678, or visit the camp’s website at www.campwabashi.org. |
